Re: PSN Article

Thanks, CLK. Nice to have this insight from Zac. Can’t seem to get a break from injuries.

Re: PSN Article

I do hope we don't hear the same mantra from Dambrot that he gives at the beginning of every year...he really doesn't know the players yet...it will take a while before he figures out who is who (and I'm paraphrasing), etc.

Re: PSN Article

I agree,
I assume he sufficiently vetted the players followed by months of
practice and secret scrimmages.  He should know who will play and how much.
But KD has to win. Not necessarily win enough for the  NCAA or NIT but  an overall winning record and at least a 9-9 conference record.  These, I think, are attainable goals.
The first test is Montana.  A reasonable first game. Kenpom has DU rated 133 and Montana 179.  I view the game as winable.
A win would end the losing skein and start the season off on a positive note.
If they lose to Montana-and they could-then KD will hear loud moans and groans and more calls for him to be fired.

Re: PSN Article

Changing the subject a bit; but I wanted to commend Zac for this excellent piece of work on the Dukes.  It has the look of a very well-organized and thoughtful article.  I think it is indicative of the progress that Zac has made as a journalist in recent years.  Thanks for your work Zac!
