Dan # 1 in Career Wins On The Bluff

Women Win 56-54 --  Win gives Dan 177 wins at DU -  Precious 17 Pts 8 Reb  --  Amaya 13 Pts 7 Reb --  Megan had 12 Reb.   Team shot only 10% from 3 point range --  2 of 20 --  One came from Tess with a minute to go to make the score 56-54 -  team got two stops in the last minute to hang on,

On the positive side -  Team was 14-15 from the Free Throw Line and both Townsend & Wasylon were back in action,

Are going to be times when they play well and lose -- so happy to accept a win on a day they didn't shoot well.--8-2 beats 7-3!!

Coach Burt is a great representative of the University standards. Loved how his team celebrated him in the locker room (women’s bball page) and how they doused him on the court. Congratulations to Coach!

Yes,
Congrats to Coach Burt and his staff and players past and present.
It is hard to win a game against another winning team going 2 for 20 from three-point range; but somehow got the win.  If this team can stay healthy; they should have a very good season.  Defense is certainly better than last year, and they have experienced players, some depth and size to go along with improved guard play.  Great to see Amaya Hamilton playing her best basketball and understanding how she can affect the game in many ways.  She will be a matchup problem for a lot of teams with her size, ballhandling skill, and mobility.
Keep stacking those wins!
