Well now I know the answer to the the question of whether or not we should go to the CBI!!!

Yep, myself and many others said save the money for recruiting trips instead of the CBI.  This was predictable given how we finished the season losing 4 of 6.  Sounded like a lot of the same issues looking at the box score.  Well at least we won't need to hear anymore about how good of a shooter R J Gunn is.....There is a reason guys are D2 Keith.  Maybe Williams can shoot 10,000 2' during the off season.  Very disappointing but no surprise.  KD better keep who we need to keep and get some quality missing pieces.  Let's see how we do on retention and recruiting boys.  Pistol out.

Yes, I was one who said don’t go because Dambrot CHOKES in tournaments. So he was 3-6 at his MAC School. Look at the end of the year down the stretch games. I can’t wait to hear those of you who have a low bar or no bar say how great Dambrot is and how this helped us. Loved watching Pitt n Xavier when the announcers said Xavier’s coach was fired last year AFTER winning the NIT because of their standards. So many of you, who have no standards probably want Dambrots contract extended after two one and done tournaments. You will say how grateful we should be that he came here… we are getting what we deserve. What’s sad is the AD is now thinking like this. Same old Duquesne… except we paid a bunch of $$ to have the opportunity to lose another one. But hey, WAIT TIL next year!!!

I was also bummed at us for accepting the Charlie Brown Invitational. All that it proved was what we already knew. We have one very good D-1 player (Grant). Of those coming back, we have two serviceable D-1 players in Clark and Dixon. And that about raps it up!

I'm starting to believe that we are seeing the future of Duquesne basketball. Think this may be a high point of what we will have over the next few seasons or until the powers that be would like to see something more. If you believe that will happen anytime soon, I have some cheap ocean front property for sale in Nebraska for you! Very frustrated!!!!!!!!
