Looks like the internet had it right!!! Wow! He must have been really ticked! His comments about learning from (and naming them) the coaches at STL was a DIRECT shot at Dambrot. But I still don’t understand why he didn’t end up with his brother. The Dambrot plan hasnt changed in years, decades. Maybe this could force a change in plans. Agreed, and to say it again: with the roster that is now in place, 3 guards on the floor together should almost never be seen this season. Too much talent in the fore court to play 3 guards very often. My other thought here is that this coaching staff needs some shaking up. Nothing against Thomas but sometimes a fresh face or two are in order. Last edited by El Presidente (6/22/2023 9:35 pm) Game plans change with changes in personnel on both teams every year. Should. Dont. Maybe now they might. How much do does a assostant make? West Virginia taps assistant Josh Eilert as interim men's hoops coach Article in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review. The idea that Charles moved on & no players followed bodes well for the future. Hopefully, most of or all of the recruits are bonded with Dru & KD.

As far as a replacement, I’d wait to see what happens with some of the WVU assistants if WVU brings in a head coach from outside the organization.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Dru Joyce has a lot of say on who comes in.
