BEST Game of the Season for the Women

They won on the road 66-59 over Davidson -  Davidson has some wins over ACC Teams -  Ayanna hit her first six shots and wound up with 18 -  Megan came up with some huge buckets down the stretch -  BOTH Tess and Amaya surpassed the 1,000 point mark in their careers.

Next up is Richmond who is unbeaten in A-10 play.

CBSSN had a really nice feature at the half on Megan (family background and her growing up)

WELL DONE BY THE PLAYERS AND STAFF!!!

Big one against 7-0 Richmond tonight... they are receiving AP votes!! Pull this one out and I will be incredibly impressed! After scratching my head much of non-con I am liking the direction of the momentum this team has.

We really got to see how good this team can be. Dominated from start to finish. Despite a ton of turnovers, losing points for lane violations, and no points from Tess Myers, we won easily. As Coach Burt said, not an ugly game at all.

Awesome win! Jerni looked great driving to the hoop, McConnell can rebound the hell out too the ball, Hamilton can handle the ball great for her size, Townsend had a great game too a great solid big. We ate them up down low.

Re: BEST Game of the Season for the Women

That was two great wins in a row.  They need to beat Loyola this weekend.  They are right behind them in the standings.  Jerni and Gabby have both contributed this season.

The A10 standings are top and bottom heavy. Good conference records and bad conference records.  Not too many teams in the middle.
