This seems to be another case of the road announcers thinking Duquesne is better than their own fans. Although I think they’re far from VCU homers. He has compared Dae Dae Grant to Caitlin Clark twice and I’d say that’s a rather large compliment. While I still maintain it was a great point, it appears Dambrot had the opposite idea. Instead of only going with Kareem when the short backup point was in, he decided to go with extra length when he is. Hronsky is playing as well as he has in his time here, and I have to think the height advantage is a big reason why. I've been as critical of Dambrot as anyone here, but I've got to give him credit when he makes that kind of untraditional move that works out. I am so amazed. Great win! I think avoiding that 8-9 game (versus St. Joe or GMU) is huge. Beat GW. Williams hitting both ends of that one and one was nice. He stepped up tonight as did all the Dukes.
