Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

Hopefully when the University begins the upcoming fall school session the bookstore gets some cool & quality gear for the upcoming 24-25 season. Go Dukes

I agree. They could do so much more and have an on line store of DU gear and jerseys with players names on them and of course the kids can get some bucks from it. On Line DU gear could sell ten times more than an " in-store only" in this potentially promising season. I  hope they can improve on their present selection.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

I was just in the bookstore and picked up an A-10 Championship t-short for $28.   A bit stiff for a t but had to have one.

I really wanted a Duquesne golf shirt but most said either law school or med school.  Just the plain Duquesne shirts were mostly small or
medium.

Dunhams is still sold out of Duquesne gear but has plenty of Pitt, RMU and other local schools but they really need to stock more Dukes stuff.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

I think Duquesne has done a great job in the online selection of player gear in the Duquesne NIL store. I don’t understand the negativity.

For example, here are 20 products for Dave Dixon. He gets a cut of everything sold. Each player has their own page (not sure if the incoming players are set up yet).

I don’t think my original post was negative. Second point I have never worn a team jersey after High School . I would hope to get some 3/2 zip ups that are not 100% polyester. Would also like some quality polo golf shits with the logo. Unless anyone on this board could send me to a high quality website source please advise. I would love high end gear for the A10 tournament next March in DC. NCAA Tournament a given. Go Dukes

My point was they could do more. That David Dixon link, he is there in the pic in a real game jersey, but you can't get one? But most of the selections are just a generic hoodie and I guess his name is on the back?  Sell the actual jersey, then I'll think  DU is really doing enough.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

I'm confused here - GoDuquesne has linked to the Barnes and Noble driven gear store for years. Wide selection of branded gear of all kinds. The new link is below and I expect the online selection/inventory to grow as the transition nears completion. https://www.bkstr.com/duquesnestore/home

Ironduke81, my comment was not directed to you (plus “negativity” was a poor word choice). I do agree with you that the bookstore could do a heck of a lot better in their other than t-shirt/hoodie/sweatshirt merchandise selection - especially with basketball specific items; e.g. a Duquesne basketball hat.  I have walked out of there numerous times without my wallet being any lighter.

Regarding the actual jersey, it’s right there on the Dave Dixon page.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

As I was looking around the Duquesne NIL store, I noticed that our foreign players were not represented here; i.e. Necas, Hronsky, Barre, Drame, etc.

I think this is due to their student visa status vs having a work visa. Can anyone confirm or shed some light on this?  I remembered reading something about these players not being able to earn NIL monies, but it is fuzzy.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

I demand the bookstore hire tailors to make me custom gear so I can complain about the price.

Re: Duquesne University Bookstore In Transition

The golf shirt selection is very limited right now, hopefully it grows when the restocking is complete.
this one is apparently the 2024 version, pretty nice looking, I would like it in white, maybe soon...

I was on PSU bookstore site the other day, they have 75 "polos" some are ugly as can be, but the nice ones are only left in size small and say 2023 in the name.   So they are restocking their stuff too.

I found a nice new logo garden flag on some other site, its really nice.   Stuff like that they need to carry online.

Got that flag. Flying it proudly in my back yard on hole 16 in Williamsburg VA. Surprisingly any Yinzer playing on the River course acknowledge Duquesne as a Pittsburgh University. Hopefully, Wal Mart can make a “ Eat S**t Pitt” flag. This would also fly proudly😂

I didn't think you directed any neg toward anyone. I, myself, feel they can put up more player jersy's and I didn't see Dixon's game Jersey in the first link. Thanks for that other link, I'm sure to buy it.
