Re: Robinson

If it's true, at least he can practice with the team. NC@@$holes have robbed him of a year.

Dukes Dispatches‏@DukesPG
Jordan Robinson will not play this season. He can stay on scholarship but cannot practice or compete. Will have four years of eligibility.

Re: Robinson

It sucks that he can't practice, but at least we know we have a good big man to step up next season.  I really hope to see more from Watkins soon.  I was hoping he could step in for Ovie, but as of now, I'm underwhelmed. Poor McKoy is going to have to do everything next season.

Re: Robinson

Semi-good news on Robinson. Receiving that notification four months ago might have been nice. At this stage I don't think anyone would expect a cleared Robinson to play out the season. Next year, four years, a good addition to a team losing Ovie. Not sure why he can't practice with the team if he's been cleared?
On another related subject, If Ferry has no plans on ulilizng Watkins why in the world didn't he redshirt him rather than seeing him waste a year at the end of the bench? Is Watkins a recruiting mistake? Ferry just about empties the bench before using Watkins or uses him for two minutes a game.
