    No. But it makes total sense not to waste his year since there are only 7 games left. Gives us a three year leader.

    I believe he qualifies to be redshirted if he doesn't try to play the rest of the season, and he isn't really able to contribute this season at this point.

    Can't imagine that Jake hasn't been redshirted but it would be nice if the athletic dept. could be a bit more forthcoming with news about this sort of thing.
