Re: New Mens asst Coach Jordan Talley

I’ll own up to having never heard the name before, but it’s tough to argue with bringing in a coach from the defending national champion.

Re: New Mens asst Coach Jordan Talley

Does Jordan Talley replace an existing assistant coach on our staff or is this a new position?

Re: New Mens asst Coach Jordan Talley

As I said in an earlier post, I had never heard of Talley before he came to the bluff; but I did some research to find answers to the questions. He is replacing Steve Wright as an assistant, who went to Missouri in the offseason. As for whether he is related to Mike Talley, I had the same thought when I first saw the name, but he doesn’t appear to be. None of the articles from the Dukes hiring him mention it. Furthermore, Mike’s family has been in Michigan for years while Jordan has been in Florida almost his whole life. All I can say for certain is they are not immediate family since Mike’s father is also Mike and his only brother is Marlin. I suspect they are not related at all though.
