Size Matters

There's an old saying when it comes to basketball, you can't teach size.

Love the added size to the team, and I think it will be very interesting to see how all our players that have come into the program will be utilized.  I have to think the two newest additions Seye and Washington are redshirt candidates allowing them to build strength and develop their overall game.  Washington is an accomplished shot blocker, so that leads me to believe we have a true rim protector for the future.

Two things that concern me, no true PG for this team and lack of experience.

The experience issue for me is going to be very challenging as we had a lot of experience at the PG spot and it is going to be a very big weakness heading into the season.  This is why I was so adamant about Iyanna Wade from Clairton, she is a true PG.

PG will be by committee next year which to me is a challenging growing pain for this team.  Love the size but really need someone to steady the ship and run the offense to get the ball into the bigs and take full advantage of this added size.
