He moves very well too and appears to be a willing defender. This forum is hosted for free by Boardhost. Create your own free forum!

Duke's Hosting Official Visit for Heimir Helgason 26' Forward
There are intriguing junior year highlights from Hudl in this article.
I am really liking the recruiting emphasis being placed on multi-position, skilled, international bigs. It's very Davidson/Richmond.
5/5/25 Evaluation from Richmond Jam:
Known for his ability to stretch the floor, he did just that over the weekend causing matchup nightmares for opposing defenses in multiple outings. The other flashes we saw included solid post defense and shot blocking instincts as well as some above the rim finishing that will take him to the next level in terms of as a prospect. One to track going into 3SSB session 1.
Another Evaluation from February 2025:
Heimir Helgason is an explosive and athletic player with a smooth shooting stroke and deep 3-point range. A versatile scorer, he finishes effectively at the rim, utilizing his quickness and leaping ability to attack from various angles. His ability to glide down the court with ease makes him a major threat in transition, where he’s always looking to capitalize on fast breaks. Defensively, he’s a force, with exceptional timing for shot-blocking and a relentless pursuit of offensive rebounds. His shooting ability, especially from beyond the arc, stretches the floor, forcing defenders to respect his range. Whether driving to the basket, pulling up for mid-range shots, or hitting 3-pointers, he scores in a variety of ways. His combination of athleticism, scoring ability, and defensive presence makes him a standout player. Overall, he’s a dynamic talent with an all-around skill set.
