That’s a strong duo, Dave Mackall and Tim Benz, at the Trib who actually cover and report on the Dukes. Dave has been a mainstay for years; respect his writing and basketball knowledge. Tim has worked his way into a reporter of trust for Dru and previously Keith. I’m happy to have them both.

Love reading articles every few days about the team. Not just recaps of games. And from different writers. This is beginning to look like what real coverage of a team should be. The Dukes have been a part of Pittsburgh sports for almost 100 years. They shouldn’t be ignored when playing mediocre or bad. Articles like these every few days is how you strengthen and build a fan base. Here’s hoping this continues no matter how they are playing.

Great interview. Interesting tidbit that Dave Dixon was part of the recruiting dinner for TG that led to his decision to choose Duquesne. Dave’s job for this team isn’t just on the court!!! Also for those who didn’t make the connection - the host of 3 bid league is Tyler Cronin, who recently published the top 55 A10 players article that was shared on this forum. 3 bid league is a must listen for fans who want to follow every team in the league.

This question answer probably is known but is there a possibility that TG could have another year of eligibility due to a Juco rule giving one back?
