For sure, congrats DD. In an era where a lot of guys run to the $, he stayed 4 years.
Will be strange next year without him, but hopefully many more games to play before then.

I hope Dave has gotten 3 nice paydays for staying.
The current wave of positive press has been great.
I can't help being a bit chagrined by the fact that 73 wins was the Duquesne career record for 4 year players.

Have to keep in mind that freshman were not allowed to play until 1972. But still… not great. Extremely proud that Dave is a 4-year Duke.

Congratulations to Dave. It’s so very easy to root a little harder for David Dixon. He’s a throwback to what college basketball used to be 10-15 years ago (in a group with relatively recent guys like Aaron Jackson and Bill Clark). Dave is a class act; a great representative of himself, his family, his team and Duquesne University; every interaction that I have had with him was impressive (and funny, with his great sense of humor).
Take a couple minutes to watch at least the beginning of the post game press conference to see Coach Dru’s heartfelt comments on Dave. Very, very special.
Here’s the video from the locker room when Dru told the team about David’s win record.
