The 6-6, 215-pound sophomore guard averaged 12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists last season for Queens

Scored 22 against us last year, I remember him. Modern skilled euro guard and can facilitate an offense. Much different player than the recent guards we have brought in and were successful with, but I am excited we are adding this guy. Really good basketball player.

In the Dukes game, Yoav picked up his 2nd foul 2 minutes into the game which chased him to the bench. I think I remember that both fouls were cheap ones, causing the Queens coach to get quite animated. While Yoav sat or played cautiously, Dukes were able to go up by 21 points in the first half before Queens was able to cut the lead to 9 at halftime. Dukes were fortunate to get to overtime (Yoav missed 2 shots in the last 5 seconds) and prevail.

If his .297 3pt shooting percentage for 25-26 was a fluke and he shoots anywhere near the 40.7% he did in 24-25, the Dukes will have gotten a steal. I am really excited about his size, basketball maturity, all-around game, & 2 remaining years of eligibility.
