Looked pretty mobile. Hope the injury is healed soon.

This is first really exciting portal add this year in my opinion. This is a guy who probably could have averaged at least 6ppg and 6rpg if he got 15-20 mins a game in the big ten. If he stays healthly he should be able to be a double-double machine in the A-10!

Awesome get. If healthy, he should be able to dominate in the A10. Team seems to be coming together (except for Saturday games).

From what I understand it’s sunset to sunset. Friday night out, Saturday afternoon out. Sunset in Pittsburgh at the beginning of March is about 6:15. Jump to 7:15 mid month because of DST.
So I think Saturday starts times of 7 in Jan & Feb should be fine. But I’m not religious and I looked this up.

Anybody know what year he’s in—not that it matters anymore?

He was listed as a junior on Oregon’s 25-26 roster.

The stat I like best from this past season for Ege was zero 3 point shots attempted. Keep that big body around the hoop.

Love his size and looks pretty mobile
Based on these stats I believe we have a real steal!
Go Dukes

Happy to have Ege coming to the Dukes.
Will temper my enthusiasm until we see if he is fit and healthy to play meaningful minutes.
He seems to have seen limited PT in most seasons. Not certain how to read that.
Would be thrilled to see anything like 7-8 rebounds and 9-10 points per game with strong rim protection.
Still need another big in the fold. GO DUKES!

Here’s some tape from Turkey:
This kid is huge, athletic, has good hands, and looks like an old school center. Think he could flourish in the a10 if he is and stays healthy. Like it

Looked like Shaq in those highlights.

Oregon has struggled out of the gate with their transition to the big ten but in the recent decade plus UO in terms of resources, recruiting, on court success and tourney bids, and infrastructure is arguably a top 12-18 college basketball program nationally. They recruited and offered this kid based on overseas pro production and wanted him over likely a lot of other center prospects.
Had an injury affected season and even the link to highlights in my last post mentioned Memphis was sniffing around at him this spring to bring him in. Barring injury this kid should be very impactful and productive at the a10 level. He looks like a bigger, more athletic, and better finishing version of David Dixon in the highlights that have been posted.

It also seems worth mentioning that there were 3 former McDonald's All-Americans 6' 9" or better above him on the depth chart.

Pasha is a surprise talent for Dru, who can drive the lane, maybe, even better than Tre Clark, but, combine with Ege. This maybe the very best of an out-side threat with an in the paint threat we have ever had since DU was a big deal. .One without the other is half of what they can do on the court together. Pasha has moves to drive the paint and defenses have to collapse on him then he either scores or dish to Ege. It just might be too hard to stop. Both look to be very good at their positions. Both, great pickups for Dru.

I like your optimism but Pasha didn’t have much of a year at VTech. Why do you think he had such poor numbers and was relegated to the bench? Comparing him to Jimmy Clarke is saying a lot, but remember Clarke and Dae Dae were a nice guard pairing. Will we have another impact player at guard next season to pair with Pasha?
No matter how good, or not so good Ege turns out to be at the five next year, he can’t play 40-minutes a game and will be a target for foul calls, remember Dave Dixon and Mike Hughes? A-10 refs always find our bigs to be easy targets, so one big won’t cut it! I recall that Hungar the GW backup center was in the portal. I was impressed with his game. If he’s still undeclared def, I would offer. He had a very strong game in a starting role against Duquesne at the Coop last year. He’s a smart player and has a feisty edge to his game.

I agree, there are a lot of ifs, but Pasha drives in the lane and takes the contact and scores, that's a big help to a center that can get get rebounds or tip-ins. Lot's of ifs, but I'm glad they are both on the team.

Napa,
Good to hear your report on Pasha. I haven’t seen enough of his game, so I’ll trust your expertise, it is usually reliable.
