Is this from a newspaper article or did you post personal athletic department communication?

This is from the lawsuit the kids are suing the the NCAA and the interim athletic Director wrote something on his behalf I don’t know if he would come back to bluff or go somewhere else the player from Oklahoma State got granted eligible on the same lawsuit. But TG is grad student so he could transfer anywhere If he get his eligibility back

Thanks for the explanation.

You’re welcome do you think he makes the team way better and if he coming back to the bluff do you think he would be preseason player of the year ?
Offline
I feel like getting TG back would likely make the team's preseason A-10 ranking go up 3-4 spots. I would be shocked to see him be preseason conference POY both because there are at least 2 other players that, due to the likely success of their teams, are more logical choices & that DU rarely receives this kind of recognition whether it is justified or not.
Lazar Djokovic & Terrence Hill Jr. from VCU are first teamers from last season that are returning to a loaded roster. They seem like strong bets for POY.

Terrence Hill Jr transferred to Tennessee.

Getting TG back would be great but we still need more bigs.

I agree getting him back would be great cause now you could move hall to the bench and have him and pasha and Berman but I don’t know if it’s happens or not definitely need one more big man

I remember reading that quite a while ago but was surprised to see his name on the 26-27 roster on the school's website this morning.
Maybe he flip-flopped or their website is woefully behind?

Thanks Mike. Getting Guinyard for another year would be HUGE!
The big mystery is what is going on with Demir. Has he signed or not? If he signed we have one scholarship available. If not we absolutely need another quality center and time is not on our side.
This has been the worst off season I can remember about getting information out of Duquesne. Not one article on the roster, not one photo of summer work outs, not one comment from the coach. If they were trying to kill fan interest in the Program they couldn't do a better job.

I don’t know if Demir is coming or not definitely a terrible offseason from the Duq front office they operate like it’s the the 2000 and it’s not guaranteed TG get his eligibility back
Offline
Clk, I’ve literally made the same comment about Duquesne doing nothing to contribute to fan interest in the program! As you stated it’s almost as if the Administration is purposely trying to destroy any fan-base that still exists. Someone down there needs to learn how to create some hype around the program.

Bad offseason for them lost 12 players 3 coaches announce season tickets before roster was complete I just don’t know who run there media team or who is behind strategy? It’s just bad way to keep fans engaged

As far as the websites… they are poorly managed and woefully behind. The two coaches that left are still listed in the men’s basketball staff directory.
Whomever is in charge of this is always behind and whomever supervises this person doesn’t do a proper job either. In 2026, this is a shame.
Or, maybe the 2 coaches and player just never left.

Can they add both? Wouldnt that be over the limit?

I seen teams have up too 16 players on the roster so I think they could it look like it’s going to go through it’s just does he really come back to the bluff or not idk we shall see

By my count even if Demir comes that’s 14
So if TG comes back it’s 15 right at the limit
Go check out the roster thread to confirm
I certainly hope we get him back
Go Dukes

Yes, but what about Lucas Prolla and Ethan Anish? Are they still on the team? Does anyone know whether former walk-ons are still grandfathered in? I was under the impression that that was for last year only and this year goes to the hard cap of 15 players no matter what.

I guess they still are, this is what Google AI had to say about it. The NCAA men's basketball roster limit is capped at 15 players, but former walk-ons and current team members are grandfathered in under the House v. NCAA settlement. Schools can retain these athletes as "Designated Student-Athletes" (DSAs), allowing them to remain on the roster without counting against the 15-man limit for the remainder of their eligibility. Key details regarding this rule for the 2026-27 season include:

Dayton has 17 on its roster I think we will be good

Oh ok, that's good, thanks!
