Here are the season stats; Below is a Pitt highlight reel from last night, or as I would call it a lesson on how not to play defense. A good example of how slow we were to defend the three point shot. Lots of teachable moments. The young guys are getting thrown into the fire. We lack better options, so we're going to have to take our lumps. Hopefully, the coaches can work with them to correct the many mistakes they will make. If so, it will pay off when we have upperclassmen with tons of experience a couple of years from now. Lots of teachable moments. OMG, I haven't seen anything that hideous since I saw John Cigna naked in the lockerroom of the downtown YMCA! (happy) Is that a moving screen or a "holding pentalty"at :34 seconds by #13 or is that legal? He does it again at :45 but is not moving really. That is a sick inbounds play and want us to use it!

Season Stats
What stands out to me is that Derrick Colter (17% shooting the trey) should be spending more effort setting up winters (41%), & Pantophlet (44%) than hoisting up three point shots. The other thing is that while rebounding has improved (not counting last night against Pitt) the Dukes three point defense is very poor. DU was 292nd in three point defense before last nights game allowing other teams to shoot 38%. That average climbed to 39% after last night's game which would move them closer to 320th. The Dukes have to do a better job of getting out and contesting the the three point shot.
Any other thoughts?
