This could be good, or bad if the Palumbo is empty for the game. Work should begin immediately toward getting a respectable crowd to attend the game. The students will probably be gone by the 19th, so the promotional team will need to be creative to put some people in the Palumbo. No stone should be left unturned; school or church groups, basketball teams, corporations, Send two additional tickets for this game to every season ticket holder; bus in prisoners from Western Penn, I don't care, just get people in the building! ;

I agree with all the get out the crowd sentiment in your post.
Getting students to this game will be unbelievably difficult.
I think a big potential source of fans that has not been tapped is the campus staff, professors, food service people, janitors, etc.
From what I remember on campus among some of the staff and professors that have been there a while is their disgust with how much the coaches make. I wonder if this is true across the country.

I have an idea. You know the big head cut outs the ban members waive, well maybe Amodio could order a massive crowd cut out and place it in the student section, and hire the 10 or so students that usually show up to move it up and down when the WM shoots free throws.
Seriously, I have no hope for a student turn out on the 19th. The empty student section stands out like a sore thumb. Maybe get some grade school kids and hand out DU tee shirts and let them sit in the student section.
It will be interesting to see tomorrow how many students show up at the Consol.
