Saint Francis

The Dukes better watch out for the Frankies.  They will make the Dukes pay if they give them the wide open 3-point looks that is the trademak of the Dukes defense.  It will be interesting to see how many students show up for the game.

I will be shocked if many students show up. SFU has been a nothing opponent for years now, and I doubt Pitt could fill half the Pete for them. With the way we're playing, only the true hardcore will be there.

Re: Saint Francis

When was the last time we lost to SFU? As bad as we've been, we've dominated them. I really can't remember losing to them.

Re: Saint Francis

We almost lost last year if it were not for Soko's late surge, As bad as we are playing it could be this year.

Re: Saint Francis

We're on the longest non-con losing streak since Nee. Wow.

Re: Saint Francis

DU has won 31 of the past 33 meetings - including the last 11 in a row - over Saint Francis. Last Red Flash win Dec. 29, 1990 (82-80 at SFU).

Pomeroy has the Dukes winning this one 71-66, with a 71% probability of a Dukes victory.

Last day of finals is today, so don't bet on the 10 students that do show up to be there.

That was the Mike Iuzzolino-Joe Anderson team that won the NEC. That team nearly beat Pitt as well. Very good team.

Re: Saint Francis

They need to get out of that stupid zone.  SF is cutting it like butter.

Re: Saint Francis

We are on pace for maybe 50 points in this "high scoring offense".  What a joke.  I hate watching basketball with zone defense.  To me I'd rather watch Kardashians or stab myself in the hand with a very sharp knife

40-24.  A new low point.

Down 13 at the half.  Just pathetic!

Re: Saint Francis

Sends a message by benching Jones ... then letting him play 15 minutes (75%) in the first half.

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy ... the kid can't play. Put somone in who can. And for the love of Mike, give a big man a couple minutes (hint: Powell and Gill are small forwards).

Re: Saint Francis

SF is very well coached.  SF is killing our zone by great quick passing and getting the ball inside at will.  Our offense is dribbling the ball to one another for a hand off.

Re: Saint Francis

As long as we keep trying 24' shots, SF has nothing to worry about, you watching Charlie?

Finally out of the zone.  But still down with time running out.

Re: Saint Francis

This is worse than pathetic - it' very sad. And I say that as someone who doesn't care anywhere near as much as I have over many, many years.

Re: Saint Francis

This may be the worst loss in memory. The other bad losses were usually always close games. This is one of the worst teams in the NEC, blowing us away at home.

Charlie is this the next level you where convinced of?

Re: Saint Francis

It's not your fault CD, Greg set up this impossible ooc schedule for this year. Since we lost the WPIAL tourny at the Palumbo maybe Greg can schedule some of them next year for our ooc games to win them back.
