Re: UMass-Lowell

Got to wonder if more than 5 students show up for the game.

Re: UMass-Lowell

12 Students in Honor of the 12 Days of Christmas
20 Parents of our players
100 season ticket holders (I won't be one of them)
100 walk-ups
300 added on for employees, players, coaches, concession folks, and anyone else.
and a few Misc.  My guess is the real attendance will be 715.  Maybe if they look in the stands the AD and coach will realize what they have turned the program into.

Re: UMass-Lowell

I actually COUNTED the attendance in B1-B4 at the Howard game -  It was 13!!  ONE of them was a Blind man who occasionally attends the games with his father who is a season ticket holder.
(maybe some of us have too much idle time)  others need to be distracted from the business on hand!!!!!

Blind man? Wow, that just reads like a joke about what a joke our program has become!

DU Basketball,  enjoyed by the visually handicapped and not many others!  Next year's slogan

Re: UMass-Lowell

Anyone else get the idea that this game is extremely important, if not essential to, not just this year's team, but to the future of the entire program?  I sure do.

Beating Lowell will stop the bleeding temporarily and the psyche would get a boost from topping someone who beat teams that beat us, and a League rival that we expect to beat!

A blowout loss in front of 200 people today and you might as well completely write off this season. They won't win ten games!  The transfer floodgates will open in the spring and we are back to behind square 1.

Re: UMass-Lowell

If we lost every A-10 game this could be the worst season since DAP.

Sorry DAP's worst season doesn't begin to compare to Danny Nee's 3 win final year.

Re: UMass-Lowell

Nice first half by the Dukes.  Shooting with more confidence.

Re: UMass-Lowell

Way better than the last game.  Better shooting and ball movement.  Good to see the ball going inside and finishing.  Early Christmas present from the Dukes. Now the Dukes need to win the next two to avoid a losing OOC record.

Re: UMass-Lowell

Yes they looked totally different than last two games.  Keep it up!!!

Re: UMass-Lowell

Very nice effort from the Dukes today.  We needed that win badly.

Nice job by you today too. Thanks for listening and understanding our general frustration.

Not a problem.  Hope I've been upgraded from "one of the worst" :-)

Absolutely right! The 3 win season was a good thing, in that it shook some people out of their stupor. I'm hoping that the St. Francis game did the same thing on a smaller level. Today was a good start.

Re: UMass-Lowell

solid, much needed win today.
2 stats that stood  out to me:
stevens--7 assists
domo- 6 rebounds.

loved seeing the old domo. looks like he is over whatever was ailing him
once he gets his shooting touch back, look out!

Re: UMass-Lowell

while not always finishing, i continue to be impressed by the hustle and the post moves of lewis.
also impressed with robinson and powell....they show some good stuff but dont always finish. they have good hoops iq for big men...need to still work on that defense
all 3 are young and still need time to get stronger and used to a10 game.
props to coach rhodes who must really be getting thru to these guys...

Ferry went back to DC at the point, Mason the off guard and starting his only senior.

Re: UMass-Lowell

Kinda looked like the players I saw all summer.  Lot nicer than the last three games.

Well, the University of Massachustetts at Lowell teams aren't going to push us around, huh?

Re: UMass-Lowell

St Francis won at Rutgers today. Doesn't excuse the other day of course, and Rutgers is horrible as usual, but SFU might have their best team since Jim Baron was there. Too bad it could end up costing them their coach.
