John Murray Dies

I can't believe none of us remembered to post this. While he didn't do a great job with the hoops program, he raised the level of the university tremendously. Considering that his mentor/protege Mark Nordenberg was performing a similar miracle at Pitt, it was important that we be able to keep up. RIP Dr. Murray.

Re: John Murray Dies

In addition to what he did as head of the university, he was the foremost authority on contract law in the US.

Re: John Murray Dies

It was strange how he and Nordenberg were both mentors, and proteges of each other, hiring each other at different times.
