In a very tight game in Florida this evening, Richmond was able to take the lead late in the WNIT game and hang on for at win over the Stetson Mad Hatteers, 67-66. So Richmond will make its second visit to Pittsburgh this season. The Dukes beat the Spiders, 58-51 (OT) during the regular season. As I recall, this was quite a rough and hard fought game. Sagarin's latest listing of women's b-ball rankings, including all of Friday's games, makes the Dukes, 22-10, a 9 1/2 pt. favorite over the Richmond Spiders, 19-13, for Tuesday night's WNIT 2nd round game at the Palumbo. It would be good to see a great turnout for the women's team as they hope to advance well beyond the 2nd round.

The Dukes have been very successful at home this season. Sagarin makes the Dukes a 10 1/2 pt favorite over the Spiders. If the Dukes play with the intensity that they had agasint YSU, the Dukes should win and move onto the next round where they would face the winner of the WVU-Hampton game.
