Josh Steel commits to Duquesne

Jon Rothstein ‏@JonRothstein   17m17 minutes ago 2015 SG Josh Steel (Barking Abbey Academy, England) has committed to Duquesne, source told @CBSSports.

I was hoping DU would get another big guard who would be available for next year.  Now we just need to win.

Between Castro,Steele, and Jackson all three are "rated" higher according to all the scout websites than anybody that we had/have on roster now. Thats great news!

Re: Josh Steel commits to Duquesne

From Official Site:

"Josh has the kind of size, length and versatility that will allow us to play him at multiple positions," said Ferry. "He has the ability to have an immediate impact on our program. He not only solidified our guard/wing position for next year, but for the future as well. He will be a tremendous asset to our team and the Duquesne community."

Ok, first things first,  He needs to get rid of that "Kid n Play-House Party-1990" haircut.

Other than that, looks promising.

Boy, you must be old. The "box" haircut has been back in style for about 3 years now.

I teach at a very mixed school. Almost none of my boys have that cut.  Now the black girls wearing the Afros that would have made Pam Grier jealous?  Now that's a different story.

It's become quite common up here, although there is really an "anything goes" thing going on with regard to men's hair now. Only Jheri Curls, and other types of chemically altered hair are frowned upon.

I'll take the "box" anytime.  I just don't want to go out and watch the "Wild Man of Borneo" type.
