Talk about burying a story.   December 23 they announce this.   Not that it would have been a big media deal anyway but announcing it on December 23.   But this AD doesnt want to answer any questions about anything, so why not release the story on December 23.

And a nationwide search will be conducted.  LMAO.  What is the record of the best Pennsylvania State Athletic Coach within a 100 mile radius.....there is the extent of your nationwide search.  The nationwide search for the women's soccer coach went all the way to Cal U of Pa.

i get the intent of your post but we don't know the women's goaltending depth.  to be true, we don't know if women's soccer will exist much longer.  don't laugh.  if they climb a conference they'll need the money and maybe the men's coach knows something we don't.  this is wild speculation just saying.

to be honest i am waiting for a school to say "we teach and preparing you is our focus" and shed all of the massive pseudo-city-ness overhead they encumber.  duquesne doesn't need it's own police for example.  sure, they maintain it to massage the crime stats but really.  we don't need the arms race to purchase more and more buildings when things are moving toward low cost, distance education.  not sure where i am going with this post.  Merry Christmas!

I can't believe you actually think that D.U. does not need its own police. Have you seen the amount of public school and college shootings in the last couple years. If you feel that they just do it to "massage the crime stats" I suggest you respond to the next active shooter on a campus. And by the way there is a thing called the Cleary act which requires all campus crimes to be reported and made public record. I respect all who are willing to give their life for anothers, obviously you don't. Why don't you crawl back to the other board with your meaningless rants.

Was not the kid who shot up a hopital @ UPMC last year a Duquesne grad student who was escorted off campus by DUs finest @ threatened never to step foot on the bluff or else! Kudos to the Administration who realized they inherited this physcho F##k! Let the police "police "unlike the campus basketball shootings when the security was deferred to students. I was referring more to a University dropping their entire sports programs rather than its police force.  I believe the police are needed.
