That would make Duquesne and the NEC the 23rd seed Winner plays No. 7 seed Richmond.
Fordham was last team in at 24.

W&M is going to be a tall task. Nearly beat UVA and beat Villanova by a lot. We're gonna have to spread them out and throw the ball all over the field.

4 Atlantic 10 teams out of the 24... Richmond, Dayton, Fordham and the Dukes.

From 4 different football conferences. Dayton getting a home game was a surprise. I don't think that was deserved.
My determination of the Dukes as the 23rd seed is strictly based on who you play in second round. But the first round games are scheduled with geography in mind.

Dukes gave Buffalo a good game last season, maybe we can upset their royal highnesses.

Looking forward to hosting you guys. Any questions about visiting Williamsburg just ask. Hoping for a good crowd, but Thanksgiving and no students will impact. Only second game ever for us against an NEC team.
Roll Tribe!!!

That is mightly friendly of you. DU lost to Albany by three. But DU very easily could have won, if not for turnovers. But Albany was just 2-7 in the CAA. And I don't believe they played you guys.
It will be a step up for sure from NEC play.

I note that the Dukes played CAA's U of Delaware Fighting Blue Hens on Sept. 18, 2010. Delaware won 30-6. W&M fans should be aware that the NEC's rules limit athletic scholarships for football to no more than 40. Over the past several years Duquesne has gradually added scholarships each season to currently approach NEC's limit of 40. The CAA and most other FCS conferences allow 63 athletic scholarships.

UR Fan here. I have to ask. How good is Duquesne's defensive line? When W&M played Richmond, W&M had a hard time controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. On offense, Richmond played the run and forced Cluley (W&M's star QB) to try to beat UR. UR stacked the box and really roughed up Cluley. He might still be feeling the after effects of that game. Cluley threw 3 INTS. W&M's offensive line is a major strength of the Tribe this year. Cluley is very good with short passes. Duquesne will have to also control the RBs, who some of the top in FCS.
We had the highest scoring offense in NEC.
