Jerry is Wrong.

Through all those different coaches there was one constant clergyman who stuck his nose in often and had no clue.  Some of the other hires were made by folks who did not understand researching long-term records (can you say Ferry!).  BTW, Ferry has done a good job in spreading his B.S. out there to hold his job and I can't blame him...if my job is on the line.

This is a different AD, a President who appears to understand the need for a positive basketball program, a strong A-10 league which could attract strong candidates, an update to Palumbo, etc.  What gets me is that here is Duquesne who MADE ANOTHER MISTAKE IN HIRING FERRY, and he wonders why coaches go every 5-6 years.  And again, the perfect example is when they did have the right coach (RE), Ego Amodio fired him.  Ferry has NOT done the job and needs to go.

This is not like the team just won 14-15 games. Had that happened, you could make an argument that with most of the team coming back, Ferry should get one more year to get over the hump. This team just went 10-22, winning 1 stinking game the second half of the season. Jethro Bodine could figure it out.
 

 
I've made that point as well, even had it on my odds page that had Ferry won 2 of the last 4 games and the first game in the tournament, the would be guaranteed to stay, even if they lost the tourney game, I would have given him 75%  chance to stay. But ten wins, a bunch of close losses (where coaching can play a huge part), and 1-12 down the stretch and three total league wins. Sorry, the writing is one the wall.
