Apparently has the sports world all a buzz. Richmond goes from being +3 with 4.7 seven seconds left to losing by 5. Richmond had 2 technicals call against them in final 4.7 seconds and Charlotte shot and made 8 consecutive free throws in final 4.7 seconds to win the game.

And they reported that Mooney (the Richmond Coach) was remarkably restrained in the post game press conference -- Wonder how Bobby Knight would have reacted (Of course 99.99% of the refs probably wouldn't have the guts to T him up)

Actually it was three technicals, two on Mooney and one on a player. Richmond initially fouled to prevent a three point attempt by Charlotte, which lead to free throws. The Richmond player then shoved a Charlotte player to the floor getting position for the rebound on the free throw. This was called a technical becuase the shot went in, and so the clock was not running; therefore a technical instead of a personal foul on the player.
There was another personal foul called on Richmond in the waning seconds of the game, when they were trying to foul to get the ball back after the first series of fouls, because they were then losing by one. The ref called it a shooting foul near half court which of course resulted in 3-shots. Mooney then lost it and got the two T's. Really, by that time Richmond wasn't going to win anyway; down by one with a guy going to the line for three more free throws, and only a few seconds left and his team in shock!
