Re: Duquesne/Hawaii Gameday

A TD to cap off the drive would have been nice, but still off to a great start. It’s hard to tell which team is the FCS and which is the FBS. Is Hawaii the third best team we’ve played this season?

Re: Duquesne/Hawaii Gameday

Solid effort by the Dukes. Even after four quarters it’s hard to say by just the eye test which team was better. Obviously three picks are huge and especially the pick six. Being disappointed with a loss to an FBS opponent shows how far the program has come.

Good observation... Hawaii is absolutely the 3rd best team we’ve faced this season.  If we play them 10 times with DP at QB we win 8.
-The defense was superb.
-Play call was atrocious.  Don’t give a QB who is playing in a fog the opportunity to throw an interception at the goal line.
-No urgency at the end after recovering the on side kick.  Don’t use the full game clock!

With DP at QB we could be 3-1 or at least 2-2 with another FBS scalp.

Oh well... shoulda, coulda, woulda.   Let’s learn from this and take the NEC Title and sneak up on them in the dance.

We know we are capable of playing toe to toe with the best.

GO DUKES!
