Given that the team has some time off - and based on some recent posts...Olympics Style Poll!!!

Rank the teams in the A-10 in the order you dislike them (in the spirit of goodwill I will use the term dislike as opposed to hate.

GOLD MEDAL (3 points) goes to the Dayton Liars
SILVER MEDAL (2 points) goes to Richmond
BRONZE MEDAL (1 point) goes to St. Joe -- THIS is based primarilly on their annoying mascot who at least twice has had his feathers "forcibly removed" in Pittsburgh

Can select fewer than 3 if you chose - ALL Gold Medals worth 3 ALL Silver Medals worth 2 ALL Bronze Medals worth 1 - All "others receiving votes" NO Points.

Gold - St. Louis (they don't belong in the A-10, go to the MVC)
Silver - Davidson (they don't belong in the A-10, go to the Southern Conference)
Bronze - Loyola of Chicago (they don't belong in the A-10, go to the MVC)

SBU is my second favorite team behind the Dukes. I cheer for them whenever they aren't playing us. I've liked them since the days of The Big Cat. I would be pleased if we beat them in the A-10 championship game in March.

Gold - Saint Louis (as entitled as Cardinal baseball fans without any real basis to be entitled)
Silver - UMass (insufferable New Englanders)
Bronze - VCU (a very large, very annoying fan base)

I don’t really belong commenting because I like all our teams. The only time I dislike them is when thy play us. But for the sake of the vote, here are my “least favorite to play” if you want to count it.
1. VCU
2. George Mason
3. Fordham

GOLD ONLY: I thought I had gotten over it, but the total "homer job" by the refs to hand that game to Richmond last week, reignited my loathing of them, which burns with the brightness of a million supernovas!

I am not a fan of any of the southern teams. Many of their coaches, media, and fans seem to have an elitist, entitled, arrogance about them. Gold--Richmond, Silver--VCU, Bronze--George Mason, Lead--Davidson.

No Sorry -- And for those who voted for a team to get the Gold and the Bronze -- they will get the Gold Only (3 Points) For lack of a better idea - deadline for the scoring will be 7PM Wednesday (Tip Off for St Bonnie) Fans will still be free to weigh in afterwards.

-Bronze=Loyola because they were supposed to strengthen the RPI, KenPom etc... of the conference

When was the last time Duke and UNC were not in the top 25?

Gold: LaSalle - Been to a number of games there. Their fans are the worst of Philly (and that's saying something)
Silver: Richmond - Respect as an institution, but I detest Mooney's smugness
Bronze: LaSalle When Temple was in the league, there was one too many Philly teams. Now that Temple is gone, there is still one too many Philly teams, and its LaSalle

I'm with VBC. Bonnies are my second favorite team overall. In spite of/because of the sibling rivalry. They just knew when to zag when we were too busy zigging for most of the last 40 years. That being said, I hope we crush them this week.

Not in our conference but... Xavier - can't stand their fans.
Of course always disliked Pitt - football team fans are babies, teams are mediocre, football coach has the mentality of a teenager, basketball fans try to imitate other schools in their conference but aren't there.
