Offline I am hoping that all of our players return, and we pick up some replacement parts from the portal. Below is the Verbal Commits transfer data base. Offline Wish he was 6-10 instead of 6-5 as listed. Offline We dont take a step forward getting guys App St and Milwaukee are after. Nothing against those schools, but they dont play Dayton, SBU and VCU. Offline Agreed Townson! Look at the kid from GTech that Fordham was able to persuade to go to the Bronx!! Offline Pistol, you're right; although it helped Fordham that Khalid Moore could come back home to New York to play his final collegiate year. I'm wary of basing judgment just looking at who is recruiting a player since a pack mentality exists when it comes to recruiting. Offline I think we are going to see that the Dukes will contact a lot of portal guys, just like they did last year. I will be watching for the 6’9” guys and above because as was pointed out with Venning, they can make a difference. Offline Offline Josh Cohen, 6'10" POY in NEC, St Francis PA, 21 ppg and 8 reb. Offline Josh Cohen, 6'10" POY in NEC, St Francis PA, 21 ppg and 8 reb. Heard that DU has already reached out to him. He is blowing up wire offers from P5 schools. Already visited Florida. Offline What about Hima? Offline What about Hima? Why???? Offline Some Primo Spears news.... On the move again! Offline Interesting - anyone thoughts on this possibility? Offline Josh Cohen, 6'10" POY in NEC, St Francis PA, 21 ppg and 8 reb. Heard that DU has already reached out to him. He is blowing up wire offers from P5 schools. Already visited Florida. This guy is going to make the mistake of jumping up 2 or 3 levels & becoming an anonymous role player. I am not saying he should choose DU but I am saying he doesn't belong at most P5 schools. Somebody should be telling him to either go be a great starter for a most-likely-to-succeed program like Richmond/Penn State/Butler/Xavier or be a star at a rising place place like Duquesne/Fordham. Offline Interesting - anyone thoughts on this possibility? He has been in school for 4 seasons but looks to have redshirted once & should still have the extra year given to all for COVID campaign. Might he have 2 years of eligibility? That would make him a much more attractive transfer. Offline Hugley from pitt entering portal, I'd throw an offer to him, what would it hurt? He'd be A10 POY. Will probably end up at Dayton and haunt us. He's from Cleveland, might stay local, OSU maybe? Dayton? Seriously, why not kick the tires? Offline DU contacts Hugley Offline DU contacts Hugley Thanks CLK for all your updates

Re: '23 Transfer Portal
A good example to me is Chad Venning at St. Bonaventure; he didn't have much interest (Marist, UMass, etc.) coming out of HS, ended up going to Morgan St. I don't believe he was highly sought after entering the transfer portal. He ended up having a good year for the Bonnies, averaging 12.7 ppg and 5.6 rpg. He will end up being a force in the A10 over his final two seasons in Olean. A player like Venning would look really good right now on the Dukes roster.

Re: '23 Transfer Portal
Thats what we need.
Dambrot has roster spots open, its not like he has to wait to see who leaves, we know 4 guys are gone.
There are seats at the table.

Re: '23 Transfer Portal
He didn't play much and now that Boeheim has retired
i wonder if he would return and KD would offer him a scholie.

Look at his stats at Syracuse (in a down ACC).
Games - 27 (vs 21 at Duq)
Minutes: 199 / 7.4 mpg (vs 202 / 9.6 mpg at Duq)
Points: 1.0 ppg (va 1.9 ppg at Duq)
Rebounds: 1.0 rpg (vs 1.7 rpg at Duq)
Blocks: 1.0 bpg (vs 1.0 bpg at Duq)
I could be wrong, but Hima would have to sit out a year for his 2nd transfer and only have 2 years of eligibility left. Nice young man, but the Dukes are not in need of a project right now.
