Northeastern is better than its record. This will be a tough game.

Maybe not, FAM. Northeastern lost their best player, LA Pratt (former Dukes recruit) to a season ending injury midway through their 3rd game. They have lost their last two games without him, and they have been hard pressed to score many points. They have a big center that should be neutralized by Hugley, et al.

Thanks. I didn’t know he was gone. Hoping for another W.

Kudos to the guys doing the stream. What they forgot to note was the Gambino crew sitting in the end section.

Second half!

Hugley's defense & overall effort have been terrible.

Where’s Max Edwards?

Sloppy game. Painful to listen to hearing all of the missed opportunities and inability to play defense.

Horrible defensive effort. Unacceptable for these guys. They are capable of so much better.

I don't get why we play a home game away like this, but the Dukes seemed like they were not prepared or ready to play. Little defense. It's a bad loss to a lesser team.

This is a very bad loss and unacceptable. How do you allow NE to score 96 points!!!! We were beat to the basket time and time again and let's not blame the refs for that. Very, very disappointing. It looked like we overlooked these guys and they didn't even have their best player. My expectations for this team have been significantly diminished. You just can't lose a game like this, but in all fairness we should/could have lost to that team at home that we beat in OT - they missed 2 shots in regulation if I recall correctly.

Yeah, kinda saw this coming with close win vs Queens, told they hung tough at Nova, sloppy win vs Loyola, and now losing to a team you shouldn't lose to. Not surprised. Will happen again.

Great effort Johnny. Loved the comments from Samuel L.I just witnessed the Johnstown flood.Coach Dru this week hands to back, move feet & chin to opponents sternum. Dukes talented offensively but horrible defense. Oh yeah how about boxing out. Unfortunately, Dukes must win the A10 tournament in Pittsburgh. Credit to NE head coach. His staff scouted the Dukes tendencies to the T. Duquesnes coach assigned to scout NE sh#t the bed. Dru got schooled. Finally the Referees🤔🤔🤔

Right on point Iron Duke and others. Unless Lebron is giving us $1mm a year screw playing at this HS gym in AKRON!!! We are a Pittsburgh school, not an AKRON OHIO school. Please enough already. Iron Duke so spot on about our D - just horrific.

Every time I checked the score we were losing. Did we ever have a lead?

A game we should win and cannot afford to lose. We obviously can't see what happens day to day in practice, but we have way too much talent to ever lose this game.
Guinyard and Jimmie Williams are as talented as a backcourt as you'll get (we've been blessed with an all-time Dae Dae/Jimmy Clark backcourt recently but still). Dimichele and Cam Crawford are assassins as off-ball guards. Max at the wing is a bonafide all A-10 guy who won us multiple games last year. Necas is a swiss army knife at darn near 7 foot. David Dixon is an all A-10 defender, round of 32 starter, and someone who embodies Duquesne and puts up SCTop 10 highlights every game. Hugley is a 20-10 guy who we're grateful to have on the bluff. Dom Aekins is the most talented freshman true point guard in idk how long. Brandon Hall and Alex Williams may have literally started last year and would be scoring 20+ in the MAC.
We have to make our run now. 3 losses in non-conf has to be the max (lets win out). There's few opportunities to strike, but our round of 32 run and the Duquesne Brand is strong - let's take advantage.

And what's up with Max and Jake? Max was one of the premier transfers last year and Jake was a true-freshman walk-on starting for our best team in 60+ years - both dressed and aren't playing. Can we get an answer on why?

I know for Jake they want to be careful bringing him back slowly. As for Maximus, I have no idea what’s up but I’d like to know
