On a beautiful sunny day in Fairfield Connecticut and yet another family day,our Dukes take on the 3 and 3 Pioneers of Sacred Heart led by their outstanding Q Marchi who has thrown 14 TDs and only 5 picks.  He has led SH to a 1 and 1 conference record beating LIU and losing to Central.  The favorite receiver of Marchi is the 4 time rookie of the week Tyrese Chamberlain and the star rb is Julius Chestnut who avg 113 per. Sacred Heart is coming off a loss at the legendary Franklin Field to Penn but remember Sacred Heart was actually co conference champs that the Dukes beat in a thriller at Rooney to earn FCS playoffs and Sacred Heart was picked pre season favorites.  Look for Dukes in a grinder!

What a game! SHU is always a tough out but the Dukes were convincing. Important one for postseason aspirations.

Agree Face and first half Dukes dominated.  Defense was outstanding especially with no Zanetto or Todd Hill. Offensive line opened holes and Dukes were physical and I honestly thought it would be closer.

An impressive win for the Dukes; from the stats it looked like they had the running game going  with AJ churning up 149 yards and Mark Allen also with a productive day.  O-line must have dominated along with the defense.  Holding a team to 6-points on their home field in today’s brand of offensive football is pretty impressive.

You are spot on Levon and I can't say enough about Coach Opfar s  and Farison s D specifically the stunting pressure from Coach Paps  line and shut down coverage  and the come up and tackle from Coach Richardson s dbs and the next man up linebackers . Just a solid all around team effort and don't forget the kicking game from MacZura too with an assist from Brumbaugh on catching a bad  snap to convert the first FG!
