As a season ticket holder, you have exclusive access to our Duquesne Basketball Tip-Off Event on Thursday, October 5 in UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. We're very excited to have ESPN Analyst and expert bracketologist Joe Lunardi in attendance to share his insights about the upcoming college basketball seasons. Additional speakers include Head Coaches Keith Dambrot and Dan Burt. Appetizers, a cash bar and spirits tastings by Big Spring Spirits will be available upon arrival. To end the evening, all guests are able to participate in an autograph and photo session presented by the Red & Blue Collective with our men's and women's basketball teams. Fans are welcome to bring their own items for the autograph session.      

Date: Thursday, October 5, 2023
Time: 5:30-7:30pm
Where: UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse
Cost: FREE admission for all season ticket holders (must have a deposit down on your account)

TICKETING
All season ticket holders will be issued one ticket per seat on their account for this event. Additional tickets can be purchased below.

I, along with many others was at the event this evening.  It was one of the nicest events in years!!!
-Joe Lunardi was excellent 
-It was well attended
-Food was awesome

Great opportunity to talk to the men's and women's players, coaches, etc.  It earns an "A"!!!

I agree with you!  It was a lot of fun tonight.  Many long time friends were there.

Thanks to all for the article & interview posts. This seems like it was a very successful event on several fronts.

Did anyone learn anything interesting from interacting with the players?

I could not be more impressed with Kareem Rozier.  His gregarious nature and natural, genuine charisma is infectious.  I can see that young man succeeding in whatever endeavor he pursues. I hope he remains a part of the Duquesne program long after his playing days are over. I spoke with him and Dae Dae for a bit and it was clear Kareem was prepared to interact with the fan base and took the responsibility seriously. No knock on Dae Dae who was polite and respectful but he acted the way you would expect any college kid to act at an event like that - Kareem acted like the CEO of a company at the annual stockholders meeting.
