4 wins is nothing to sneeze at.
Fordham really had the Dukes’ number in those 2 years; those pictures of recruits in Times Square really put them over the top.

Seriously, what a joke. With all the crap that goes on, the NCAA comes down hard on Fordham???  Reminds me of the old Jerry Tarkanian quote, "The NCAA was so mad at Kentucky they gave Cleveland State two more years of probation."

I realize the thread was a joke, but still see the need to point out that the wins are being vacated, not forfeited. So they don’t get credit for the wins, but we still do have the losses.

You’re no fun, lucky. I prefer to remember the tandem of Primo Spears and Jackie Johnson not passing to each other as part of an 8-22 Dukes team vs 6-24. And who can forget Kevin Easley declaring for the NBA draft after that season.

That does sound better for Dambrot's "best team ever."

Haha! Forgot about Easley and that he “declared”. There were definitely some tough personalities on that team. I don’t think last years team was much better but they played better basketball and seemed like more of a cohesive team of guys who didn’t think they were all the number 1 option.
