Thanks to the administrators of the Duquesne Dukes Message Board.  Hopefully the success of the Dukes' teams who play fall sports this season will encourage the followers of this website to comment, complain, praise and criticize (where necessary) to their hearts content. 

A general observation about the Dukes' fall sports teams is that at least three teams, men's soccer, women's soccer and women's volleyball, are in striking distance of finishing the regular season in the top four of the A-10 and have the potential of making it to the finals of their sport's  A-10 tournament.  

Both women's and men's cross country have fared pretty well in most of their meets this season.  Their season comes down to their performance in the A-10 Championship meet on October 29.  The women's team has already won this meet two years in a row (2013 & 2014) and finished a very close 2nd in 2015.  In the A-10 pre-season coaches' poll the men's team was picked to finish 2nd.  It appears that both teams have the potential to finish in 1st.   No doubt two cross county A-10 Championships would be an outstanding achievement!
