Coaches Poll and STATS final poll will not be out for another week. College Football Today is the first legit poll since the playoffs started.

Thanks for sharing Coffee and is this the highest ranking Duquesne has received since football returned as a division 1 program? Wasn't sure about 2015 or some of the teams in the 1990s? Thanks again

Towson had some nice wins against some good teams. This makes the Duke's win more impressive.

Not to minimize the win but if they play again ten times and the Dukes may not win half. They were the better team in the conditions. Flacco played his worst game ever partly due to the weather and partly due to a great defensive scheme.

Towson beat Nova who beat Temple who beat Maryland who beat Texas who beat Oklahoma....who didn't beat Bama! I get the argument that Dukes should have been higher than Towson and agree with Coffee that they were pretty good team with quality wins in maybe second best FCS conference.

I don't know what methodology was used to come up with these standings, but shouldn't direct head to head play trump (pardon the expression) everything else? I don't think anyone anywhere would have questioned us at #21 and Towson at #22. We went there and beat them rather soundly on their own field in the same rain that was falling on them. Just saying.....

Thanks MikeR and agree with you. I honestly don't know how this is determined. Is it Coaches voting, Media etc. Head to head should matter as a trump factor Haha. Happy New Year all Jack
