Bryant left the NEC this week.  After the football schedule was announced. And they joined the BIg South in football. 

The NEC cuts its nose off to spite its own face.  That’s three football programs that left the NEC for the Big South.   Apparently, if you are a full member school and leave; they won’t let you leave and remain a football affiliate member.   I would imagine that Monmouth, RMU and now Bryant would have stayed in NEC football if given the opportunity.
