Students get in for free with their student ID and I believe they have to sit behind the basket on the visiting bench's side. I have seen students sitting behind the benches or first few rows of the sidelines before too and have absolutely no problem with it. IF those seats aren't going to be filled, it's great somebody that will hoot and holler can be close to the players and possibly even effect the game. There is only one time I have ever seen security go into the sideline stands and force students to move into the endzone... the home opener last year.

Players seem cool, they interact with students and fans after the games, saw Dixon shaking hands with fans last night at courtside, see Dae Dae with the students.   Doesnt seem like the players are jerks.   

In conference play last year the student section was filled up multiple times. If the team keeps winning they will come. 99% of students have no care if the opponent is top 60 in kenpom rankings... that want to see winners. And if we keep winning, they will come.
