I’m surprised that this didn’t get any comments. Bernie did a great job getting a 40% rights increase and managing to keep a big portion of the games on the NBC network USA. Especially when NBC went all in on the Big Ten. I didn’t think they would have any interest.

And since the PAc-12 imploded over no new acceptable tv deal. No I am not comparing the two. But for the A10 to do that well in tv negotiations says a lot about Bernie.

DuqBlue, you are correct; this new agreement is a big deal for Duquesne and the A10. This media deal further solidifies that the A10 is just a single tier below the top 6 conferences (Power 5 + Big East). This five-conference tier includes Mountain West, American Athletic Conference, West Coast Conference and the Missouri Valley Conference; these conferences are poised to secure any remaining NCAA at-large bids. The other 21 conferences (representing approx. 225 schools) would trade places in a heartbeat.

Does anyone know what the per season payout to each of the member schools is currently?

I have always wondered if broadcasting A-10 basketball creates revenue that is a material gain for the individual schools' athletic departments, just a brand exposure thing, a way to offset the operational costs of running the conference for all sports, or all 3.

Agreed!! They do have the most exposure beyond the big 6. I read twitter comments from AAC, CAA and MVC adjacent people complaining about their conferences coverage.

I doubt it’s enough to offset the costs of the department.
