Since our very bad start, Odds make us underdogs. But we beat each of those teams by about 10 plus. Dayton has struggles on the road recently. Coach Dru has these kids ready. I like our chances here.

It’s been a ton of fun watching the Dukes last year and this year so far. Been following them for 30+ years. I know some of you are going on 50+. Excited for this game. Go Dukes!!! I like our chances too.

Enjoy it gang. The Dukes are 19-4 against A-10 competition over their last 23 games!! That is a run of success few teams get to enjoy in this league. Win this one tonight and Duquesne is clearly the team to beat in the A-10. I expect a battle and no outcome would surprise me. I want to see some scoring by guards off the drive and would love to see more FTs. Otherwise, everything else is clicking beautifully

Hey guys... I haven't posted on here for quiet sometime. I've been saving my comments for our podcast "All Dukes Sports Talk" and have reached our 9th episode.If you get a chance please check it out.

We all are doing this on a voluntary basis and not getting payed anything for our efforts. Though we are looking for a sponsor we rely exclusively on trying to grow our audience by having our viewers "Like and Subcribe" to the channel.

Did not see this debacle coming. Get it down to ten with 10 minutes left, but got to start playing hard and playing defense. Damn man you guys have been so disrespected by everybody in this league and you have a chance to make a statement and this is what you bring. C'mon Dukes this is so disappointing on many levels.

Dayton, the league darlings, the refs are f-ing us. Dayton has already lost enough to not get ranked, nor an at large bid. The refs all season are an embarrassment of lack of fair play. Start calling a fair game for once.

Necas was fouled on a 3, no call, Edwards was hammered to the ground, no call, Hronsky was fouled on a 3, no call, this in less than 3 minutes. DU has to get these refs out of A-10 play. There has to be some level of competence.

Agree the officiating as usual sucked, but the Dukes did as well. Worst defensive performance in the last 13 games. Just abysmal. Not sure what Corbett brings to the table in these games and Necas was just brutal. Hope Edwards keeps his head up as he should have been the main focus when everybody else was shitting the bed.

So agree. That clown makes me want to puke especially when their losing. He loves when The Dukes get humiliated. How has he not been fired. Duquesne basketball has to look into that.

Get Corbett off the court and let Wilborn, Hronsky, Necas, and Barre get his minutes. He doesn't play ANY defense. Dinkins needs less minutes and Crawford and Edwards need more. Dixon needs to start no matter what he thinks. Barre also needs more minutes as well as Wilborn. Too many minutes given to guards who don't play defense. Start Edwards, Rozier, Hronsky, Dixon, and Wilborn. Necas, Crawford, Dinkins, Barre or Wilborn and Corbett off the bench. Need DiMichele to get healthy. Necas needs to step up his game. This was a total embarrassment and set this team back big time.

I would say this much. The refs never favor us, never. BUT, there is enough game film on how teams beat Dayton and it seems, this coaching staff didin't take the time to look. Also, when you are down by 20 plus, and your team takes their time walking the ball down the court? You are killing yourself? Go into an all out running mode or something to close the score. Every lose it seems we waste clock like we have the lead. I'd like to see 10 plus trip to the hoop, not 5 bad trips. And if we want to foul, start fouling their worse player with 5 or 6 minutes left, not in the last 2 minutes when those players are on the bench? Yes, this is one game, but now, other teams have film on us, about how to play us like Dayton. For a team that depends on defense, we didn't play like anyone knew how to play defense. Let's hope the coaching staff, and the players, go back into practice and clean this up. This team is way better than they played tonight. Way better.

No sense of urgency tonight. Even Dru looked non commital at times. Just a weird sense of what the hell are we doing and why aren't we having any sense of urgency. I don't get it. One thing I do know is Corbett is lost totally defensively. He might make a play here and there on offense but doesn't play ANY defense. Need to have Barre, Wilborn, Necas, and Dixon playing more minutes at the forward/center position. Need more Edwards, Hronsky, and Crawford, and less Dinkins as he is an obvious defensive liability as well. Hope Dimichele can get back in the lineup.

I've said many times in the last 11 months how different the Dukes looked compared to teams of the previous 30 years. Tonight looked like those old Dukes. Obviously Dru and the rest of the coaching staff need to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. Whatever caused the switch to flip on against Towson should be stressed again. I kind of hope he tells the team to forget tonight though. Everyone knows they played like crap, and no amount of film study can change that. As bad as the defense was, Dayton shot better than a lot of teams do going against air. If the players let doubt seep into their heads the team risks reverting back to where it was the first month of the season. Fordham is a team we absolutely should beat, but we've struggled against them over the past few seasons, especially at Rose Hill. Our stretch run last season started after a trip the to Bronx. Hopefully we can start this year's before it.

Sometimes this happens. One team playing irrationally on a positive note and the other doing nothing right. This is another “new” situation for the coach. I have learned that he and his team are not what I thought they would be after the first couple of OCC games.

As far as the officials, the one gentlemen hurt us twice so far this year but it didn’t matter in this game. The officials did not dictate this outcome, Dayton did. This game had little to do with the overall poor officiating.
