After that shooting performance against UMass, it’s hard to imagine it could get any worse.  If teams take away Dinkins and Crawford shooting 3s as UMass did, someone else needs to step-up and make shots whether they are layups, mid-range, or 3’s, someone needs to make shots.

This game is a true test of the teams pulse at this time. Richmond and Fordham are the two problem children of the A10. Everybody else could be anywhere from like 4th to 13th by the end of the week. If the Dukes string just a few wins together they can put themselves in a good position seeding wise.

We’re lucky to still be playing for the double bye as bad as we’ve been recently. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a league so balanced.

We are better on the move and scoring on the fly. Over coaching offense just makes these kids hesitate to take the open shot. Our defense has been strong enough to win every game, but playing slow half court at the expense of quick score all season has not won a single game.  Coach Dru was a pro that they had a 20 second clock? Play that fast.

This team is so lost, How did that happen these last 5 games. My take is after Edwards lit up the scoreboard for two games when the Dukes went to 4-1 Joyce summoned him to the bench for throwing a ball away in the first half of the next game and has played him sparingly since while giving other undeserving guys more minutes. Necas looks totally lost and a shadow of himself. Hronsky off, Dixon digressing, Corbett meh. Rozier frustrated, and if I was Dinkins i'd shoot it 40 times a game at this point.

Don't know how many times i've had to watch Necas pass up an open look in the lane to throw it out top for a desperation 25 footer. Who's coaching this guy? C'mon this a joke.

We stink at half court? DJ keeps playing KD's half court these last 5 games and it stinks.  Defense, fine, over coach it ,but  offense, stop the over coaching and let these kids run in transition to the hoop. Heck Richmond stinks and they are beating us in transition like crazy.

I stated this before the game started, and this is exactly what just happen by half time.

Dru needs to ask LeBron for some NIL $. Because our players are not good enough.

I said that from the beginning. Dru bought into KD mentality, but these guys look lost playing the half court style. Let the guys run. The alternative is not working and downright hard to watch. Playing right into the hands of your slower opponents.

Necas has been schooled all night on the defensive end.

He is broken. For whatever reason.  He can’t shoot, rebound, score in the paint, or play defense right now. Not sure what happened.

I don't know how this team played so well in early January and is playing so bad now. They appeared to hit their stride but now they have quickly plummeted back to early season lack of form. We have zero ball movement and it is painful watching them on the offensive end.

It looks like DJ doesn't spend the time coaching defense as much as coaching slow under scoring half court offense.  We are half way in the second half with 30 plus points?  And 10 plus behind, watching this team walk the ball down to slow half court play is mindless.

Yeah it's weird. Not sure what's happened to him, but this coaching staff definitely doesn't have the answer. Think Necas will be entering the transfer portal, the talent is their, but no confidence here.

Can Corbett finish a layup or dunk? Can't make a foul shot, so what is his purpose exactly? Need to get transfers in the portal who come from winning programs

Matus has been shooting horribly but for some reason he’s not seeing the court. The other horrible shooters are out there.  Maybe Max keeps this going the rest of the season and we can scratch out another win or two.

I think a lot of what we said at the beginning of the season is true.  Dru is learning. Mooney is the best coach in the conference in my opinion and Dru is seeing him at home for the first time.  We aren’t a one win team in the A-10 but we’re not a 9 win team either.  Hopefully Dru learns this year. I expected growing pains and this is what growing pains looks like.

Shows how bad Richmond is that they let us stay in this game. Horrendous performance. Didn’t realize just how important Chabi is to us.

Shouldn't have growing pains when you make the Final 32 the year before and return 5 or 6 guys and get six quality transfers. Not sure this coach is going to grow and if he does it it will probably be at another institution years from now. Reactionary hire i'm afraid. Had the chance to build something special after last season and now were back to the same old downtrodden program. Sad.

I think his coaching skill on defense is excellent, but not running a pro style transition offense with all this talent is a big mistake.  His trying to over coach this team in a slow half court style is running this team into the ground.  I can understand KD coaching down a team in half-court, he didn't play pro ball, but I really expected Dru to come in here and have a very fast high scoring transition offense. On the games he won going 4-0 to start conf. play, it resembled a fast pace team, then the Dukes seam to turn into a very slow half court team? Keep playing that way, keep losing.
