PrepHoops has him ranked as the #3 recruit in MO & #118 nationally for 2026. He is sometimes listed as a PG, but much more often as a SG.

CLASS 3 Missouri Player of the Year as a junior
The 6’3 2026 guard solidified his chops as one of the best guards in the state as he led the Panthers on a dominant run to the Class 3 state championship. He averaged 19.4 points, 6.5!.rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals a game. He scored 30 points in the state championship game against KIPP KC Legacy
From last weekend's Nike EYBL 17 and under tournament:
I’ve been a big fan of Coleman for a while and shooting 7/8 in a victory over your bitter EYBL rival is one way to continue to boost your stock even more. Coleman is a guard who can play on or off the ball and can flat out make shots. Whether it was spotting up in the corner or isolating on a big when he got a switch, Coleman was efficient and didn’t force the issue. I also thought Coleman showed excellent chemistry with point guard Trey Pearson and also have to give a shoutout to JJ Andrews, who scored 32 points on 13/21 efficiency from the field.
One more evaluation:
Coleman has flown a little under the radar out of the Saint Louis area but holding an offer from the hometown Billikens and playing for Brad Beal Elite this grassroots season could allow his name to blow up. Coleman was also recently offered by Arizona State and took a visit to Xavier last season while their old staff was in charge. A state champion, Coleman had 30 points and nine rebounds in the title game for Principia. It seems like a national level emergence is in the cards for Coleman if he continues to perform during the live period sessions.
