Really enjoyed that. Some great questions too. I am finding myself becoming more and more of a John Hugley fan everyday. I do not know I have ever seen anybody be as active as him on the court when it comes to his expressions in a non-malicious way. He's smiling in guys faces when he's guarding them, dapping opposing forwards up mid-game, motioning to the crowd to get loud during free throws... He seems to be having a blast out there, and it sure is entertaining. Hoping his health and conditioning stay where we need it to be! Take us to the promised land, John!

I met John this past summer. He could not have made a better impression on me.

This interview is a much watch. None of the A10 "experts" gave him any preseason recognition, and he is proving them blind. I love his attitude and approach to the game. Coach Dru could not have gotten a better leader and on court mentor than him. Go Dukes 🏀

You nailed it. He is both confident and enjoys every moment of the game. He is the key to getting DU back in the top 20 of the older years.
