I have heard it repeated several times that Dru is the type of coach that players like.  But, maybe he is too soft and needs more of an edge.  KD and Frank Martin sure wouldn't stand there and say nothing.  They might get  technicals. But, you know where they stand.

Well, we don’t know specifics about his contract but common sense would say a minimum of 3 years. This is his first and he will get a pass. The second year the hope is he learned from the first year. The third year, if it’s not strong then folks will want a change. But 3 years is a way off. Look at the rope Pitt gave their men’s coach.
      Gonna be a long year!!

Excellent points.  This team is immune to going to the rack. Corbett started to with decent results but still not enough.  Chabi is proving to be good at cleaning up a miss and putting it back.  Need to start improving the transition game. FTs are infuriating.

Dru is showing that KDesque substitution pattern that is infuriating.  He pulls guys when they are playing well and continues to play guys who are performing terribly.

Finally, with Jake on the bench, this team has no secondary options at guard.  Kareem will need to play 30 minutes. I thought when this team was recruited we were shallow at guard but this is scarier than I foresaw.

They sure keep injury info very close to the vest, CLK. Has been that way for quite a while. I’m surprised that one of the reporters covering the team (and the Dukes do have coverage) have not been able to provide any info.

Also, it was really a disappointing performance by Tre Dinkins last night. Playing against an old conference foe, it seemed like St. Peter’s knew how to shut him down or the St. Peter’s team was in Tre’s head. It was magnified by not having Jake to replace him.
