Painter is going to sign for PSU. You heard it here first. I think we're late to the party for a lot of these "step ups." Yes, ...or perhaps a kid had verballed somewhere and found out a coach left/was leaving, or had given out more scholies than he actually had? Can sometimes catch a break if it's the right guy.

I think you're right, seems late to make an offer when a guy already has a long list; unless they let you know that they aren't really happy with the offers, and may have an interest in coming to Duquesne, for any number of reasons such as playing time early, style of play, academic programs, proximity to home or a family member in Pittsburgh.
I kind of figured Painter for PSU, they are so dominant in the Central PA, and Chambers has done a nice job in Philly as well.
