The Dukes game at WVU on Dec. 20th will be a good measure of how good the team is against a very tough opponent.  GO DUKES!

Re: Women's Basketball RPI and Rankings

I just read that  Jim Jabir, Dayton of Dayton votes in the USAToday top 25 poll.   I have always detested all things Dayton related.   The Dukes received no votes in last weeks USAToday Top 25 poll.   One would think you would get some respect from someone in your own conference.   It will be interesting to see if they get any votes in that poll this week.

Re: Women's Basketball RPI and Rankings

The Dukes got 19 votes in the AP poll and 6 votes in the USA Today Coaches poll.   I looked on line to find the ballots for the USA Today Coaches poll to see if the Dayton coach voter for us, but I couldn't find it.   If anyone else can find it, it would be most appreciated.

I don't want to spread cold water on the women's success, but it is going to very tough for them to make the NCAA tournament without winning the A10.

As soon as they inevitably lose another game, they will drop out of top 25 consideration for the remainder of the year.  Also, in all liklihood, they will have a disappointing loss also (all teams generally do) which will hurt there at large consideration.

I personally think it is a crock of sh#t, that they are not getting consideration, especially since the AP voters have been in love with teams like Florida Gulf Coast, Wisconsin-Green Bay and Chatanooga last year and this year we aren't getting any respect at all.
