Offline There is almost no one here Offline Finally woke up at the end of the half after missing shot after shot about mid period. Defense has been decent but PSU dictated the pace quite s bit mid period. Offline Bring it home Mulder. Offline Come on Dukes!! No let up. Go. Last edited by Mulder (11/20/2015 8:23 pm) Offline DC is playing like an All-American tonight. Offline 3:54 and I want no freaking let up! Bust em up. Offline that was pretty impressive. didn't see that coming at all. Offline The Dukes intensity level was off the chart. That was clearly the best defensive effort I have witness by a DU coach Jim Ferry team! Great team effort! Offline That's the best the Dukes have looked in the ferry era. Let's carry this into the Florida tournament. Need to come home with at least 2 wins Offline We expect this type of effort from the veteran guards but the players of the game for me were the 3 big men: Lewis, sanders, and gill. They were monsters on the boards and were blocking shots left and right Offline Can't wait until Monday 2:30 pm tip off , is it my imagination or does Castro bring the ball up court as slow as any guard? He gets picked from behind by forwards. Great win! Women won as well. Football game tomorrow. Good times on the Bluff. Nice to celebrate rather than argue! Offline That's the best the Dukes have looked in the ferry era. Let's carry this into the Florida tournament. Need to come home with at least 2 wins The door has opened a crack for a breakthrough season. Winning 2 of the 4 games would have put us in position for a winning season. Now we have a chance to do even better. If we can maintain that level of defense, 20 wins are not out of the question. Sanders is going to do great things before he's done here. We're not a big team, but we're not woefully undersized either. We've been trying to find a decent center forever. We now have one, and the backup is good as well. Having Lewis, and Sanders allows the other players to play their natural positions. Gill would be playing center on a lot of Duquesne teams of the past. Offline Can't wait until Monday 2:30 pm tip off , is it my imagination or does Castro bring the ball up court as slow as any guard? He gets picked from behind by forwards. Castro hasn't adjusted to the speed of the college game. Until he does, he'll only see spot duty. We don't really need him this year, but it would be nice for him to be a big contributor next year. Offline YES YES YES FREAKING YES! Offline Congratulations Coach Ferry - Nice Job Offline Hey FAM, "penn state is better than us right now". Better stick to your day job and lay off the negativity. So tired of hearing everyone say why this team can't ever go anywhere. We are starting to build something here and just tired of hearing all of these people trying to slam the program they claim to be fans of. Don't give a s**** about recent results or bad administration or anything else people want to Complain about. If your a fan stand behind and support your team and please if you can attend the games. Tired of being one of the few people there cheering. If your unhappy with this team or want to trash the athletic department, I say pound salt and stay off the board. Why not be supportive and hopeful for success rather than call for people's heads constantly and say how much of a joke we are Offline chill - my post congratulated them. This was a wonderful win - but it wasn't negativity. Put your rose colored glasses away - Look at the last three years. I give money, have season tickets, and have sat in the stands when there were less than 200 people over the years. The facts are the facts. Others like me are very happy they won and hope it continues, but if you can't be objective by looking at the last three years then I have some land to sell you in Florida. Last edited by FAM (11/20/2015 9:58 pm) Offline Congratulations Coach Ferry - Nice Job Would have been no game if we didn't play it at the Consol. Offline Wonderful win for the Dukes tonight. I expected a win, but was hoping for a 5 or 6 point margin. A 26 point blowout was not on my radar screen. Offline VBC-glad you mentioned Don Maser-a class guy. I was lucky enough to to enjoy the company of Bruce Atkins and Terrell Bridges. They are impressed with the Dukes, especially their inside game and the help defense the Dukes played all the game. Indeed, a good time was had by all the Dukes nation tonight!!! Offline VBC-glad you mentioned Don Maser-a class guy. I was lucky enough to to enjoy the company of Bruce Atkins and Terrell Bridges. Good to see you didn't stay away Gram. We're all in a good mood tonight!!! Offline You might have noticed the absence of certain posters since the season started. I won't name names, but you know who they are. They are hoping for the Dukes to lose, and will be here tout de suite, as soon as the first loss occurs. Offline On the contrary ... I made the trip to Easton to cheer for the women's team. And I brought people with me AND we were louder than the Lafayette fans, the six of us.

Congratulations Dukes - Nice Job
3,500?? Should have been at Palumbo
Glad he kept Castro on the bench until the end - hopefully with another year he will be ready for next year.
Best win under Ferry - Well done - good coaching - effective defense!

Re: Penn State at the game
A nice run to end the first half then never letting up in the second. That's winning basketball.. Spectacular night from DC.
My most basketball knowledgeable friend, a former WPIAL champ, went to the game with me. He was very impressed with the play of the Dukes. He also, by the way, was disappointed when he found out the game was at Consol. He likes Palumbo better for college basketball and thinks it's a great arena. He's also an old friend of Don Maser and we had the pleasure of spending halftime and part of the second half talking to Mase. A fun night all around.

Happy for and impressed by the win. Let's hope the momentum keeps building.
The women's team is awesome. Bunch of freshmen get significant minutes. April Robinson is a price of admission player.
Good night for Duquesne Nation.
PS, I'm not the enemy.
