Do we roll the dice with Steele or Castro or do we bump Gill to the 3 and roll the dice with a stronger inside game.
I vote for moving Gill to the 3. Let's try to create a tough match up for the other team as opposed to trying to play guys who aren't ready.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Going on past practices I'm guessing Steele and Castro get first crack at the extra minutes. I don't see a history of Jim playing a Gill or Powell type player at the 3. If Steele and Castro don't pan out he'll have no choice though. Jackson doesn't seem to be an option.

As I said on the other thread: ""Enter Tysean Powell at the four with Gill at the three. Rotating with James. The A-10 has a host of bigs that start for most teams. Few play a three small lineup at the guard/small forward positions. Now you nave Sanders and Robinson as your "bigs" for substitute purposes. Ya still keep Castro as a guard sub when necessary. Hopefully, the rotations of the bigs in pre-season will show rewards."

I've been musing over the ide of a "two big men" inside game, with Lewis and Sanders (or Robinson and Lewis) playing at the same time. Others have pointed out we will need more inside presence in the A-10 as teams work hard to shut down Mason and Coulter. Lewis and Sanders, with some combination of Powell, James and Gill at the three.
