They have moved into the "also receiving votes" category - hope Lady Dukes knock 'em right back out! This morning's Sagarin ranks the Dukes @ #41 and the Bonnies @ #63. Depending on which of Sagarin's formulae for predicting scores are used, the Dukes would be favored by 6 1/2 to 7 points at the Palumbo. While the Dukes' schedule gives the Dukes a 5-day break before they welcome the Bonnies to the Bluff on Saturday, the Bonnies will be playing at Dayton this evening. Then they will travel back to Olean, and then have to hit the road again on Friday for a trip to Pittsburgh. Hopefully they will be travel weary. Last edited by godukes1970 (1/20/2016 5:41 pm) Dayton blows another 4th quarter lead and loses to SBU. Saturday's game is very important. Dukes fall to fourth after St Louis beats St Joes. It is unbelievable that the outlook can turn after one loss. Last edited by duqkurt (1/20/2016 9:06 pm) Dukes fall to fourth after St Louis beats St Joes. It is unbelievable that the outlook can turn after one loss. The Bonnies women's team's winning streak will come to a halt at the Palumbo. The Bonnies' come from behind win at Dayton tells me that the Flyers are crumbling as the season wears on. The Bonnies obviously have had very successful this season, but I point out that the Dukes have dominated the Bonnies, 19-5, in games played at the Palumbo. The Dukes need to get a good start against the Bonnies, especially April Robinson. I point out that the Bonnies do not have any player that has the skills and height of Jonquel Jones. The Dukes have already faced GW who appears to be the most dominating team in the A-10. I agree - Kadri-Ann and April came up huge in the first half - second half was pretty much "cruise control" still have to give SBU some credit - not only did THEY put together a 15 game win streak - but several times with their motion offense they managed to get (and hit) good shots with 1 second or so on the shot clock - Don't know who it was when describing an offense like that said "WHY CHASE 'EM JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE AND EVENTUALLY THE PERSON YOU ARE GUARDING WILL FIND HIS (HER) WAY BACK TO YOU!!" Re: Lady Bonnies
I believe that the cachet that the Dukes earned in their whuppin' of the Flyers on Jan. 3 has been somewhat tarnished by Dayton's current mediocre record of 8-8 (1-4). Given that the Flyers have fallen from atop of the A-10 and are currently in 12th place, I would still hope that they will give the Bonnies a tough game and beat them. If the Dukes can't win the A-10 outright, then let them finish in 2nd place with no ties. At this point in the season the Bonnies appear to be the team that will be most likely the Dukes' main competitor for that spot. GW appears to be in the driver's seat for first place.

Re: Lady Bonnies
It just a shame that they have so little margin for error. Power 5 schools can lose 7, 8, 9 games without a worry.
The new winning streak starts on Saturday.

Dukes' fans, it should be a great game to see in person.
